Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Sampson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres The role involves: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
