Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Baldwin County, Georgia. The job is at an accident repair centre. What we are looking for: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day to day you will apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. Part-time with flexible hours. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
