Immediate opening: we are hiring an automobile mechanic in Alameda County, California. You will be based in a roadside repair garage. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic Day to day you will service and replace timing belts and chains; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; estimate repair costs and order the right parts.
