Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Pottawattamie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Day to day you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
