Plant operator • Benton County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Benton County, Mississippi. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. The role involves: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Full-time with occasional weekends.
