Immediate opening: scaffold fitter (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Westchester County, New York. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. On the job you will handle: • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Overtime paid at a premium rate.
