We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Laurens County, Georgia. The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
