Plasterer's mate — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Your main tasks: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
