Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Charles City County, Virginia. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day to day you will fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Rotating shifts.
