Dry lining plasterer • Broome County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Broome County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
