Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
