Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Franklin County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
