Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Good eye for colour matching and blending Day-to-day duties: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Rotating shifts.
