Ladle pourer • Greater London, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Greater London, England. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
