Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Mahaska County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
