Lifting rigger wanted in Glades County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Glades County, Florida. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
