Milling machinist wanted in Lafayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Lafayette County, Florida. Day to day you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
