Reinforcement steel fixer • Ndokwa West, Delta State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Ndokwa West, Delta State. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
