Immediate opening: metal caster (Osun State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Irepodun, Osun State. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
