Rebar fixer wanted in Sussex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sussex County, Virginia. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust.
