Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Lewis and Clark County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Lewis and Clark County, Montana. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Full-time with occasional weekends.
