Hoist operator — Staffordshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Staffordshire, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
