Vacancy available: bar bender and fixer (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Finney County, Kansas. You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
