Safety marshal • Bay County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Bay County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
