Day to day you will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. You should have: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
