Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Lake County, Florida. The job is at a busy lift company. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake 3+ years on the tools preferred.
