Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Mobile County, Alabama. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
