Immediate opening: aluminium TIG welder (Borno State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Askira-Uba, Borno State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
