Day to day you will seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; insulate and ventilate the roof void. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights and steady balance • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
