Pipe tig welder — Lere

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lere, Kaduna State. On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
