Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lewis and Clark County, Montana. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
