Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
