We are recruiting: prep cook (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Henderson County, Tennessee. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves: • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Six days a week, one day off.
