PVC profile cutter — Sandwell

Join our team: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Sandwell, England. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
