Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Sunderland, England. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Part-time with flexible hours. £2,350 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
