Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Daniels County, Montana. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
