Great opportunity: excavator operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Central Bedfordshire, England. The role involves: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 6+ years on the tools preferred.
