CNC mill setter-operator • Putnam County, New York

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Putnam County, New York. The job is in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
