Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Allen Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
