Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Elliott County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On the job you will handle: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
