Escalator technician — Lewis and Clark County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Lewis and Clark County, Montana. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
