We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in North Lincolnshire, England. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
