The role involves portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; season and marinate meat on request. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
