We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in McLean County, Kentucky. The job is at an infrastructure site. The role involves: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Rotating shifts. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
