Urgent requirement: protective coatings painter (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Van Zandt County, Texas. You will work at a busy decorating firm. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec The role involves: • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Sand and fill walls before applying primer 2+ years on the tools preferred. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
