Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Alpine County, California. The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
