MIG/MAG welder — Somervell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Somervell County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
