Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble cutter in City of Staunton, Virginia. You will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat. Ideal candidate: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
