Lift technician — Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift technician in Douglas County, Oregon. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Full-time, day shift.
