Steel erection rigger wanted in Wilkes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Wilkes County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
